What we collect and why

If you book a call or contact us, we collect what you give us — name, business name, contact details, and what you tell us about your situation — to respond to your enquiry and provide our services. Client engagements involve further information (including tax file numbers) collected under our letter of engagement, handled under stricter statutory confidentiality.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you’ve expressly opted in, every email identifies us and contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes are processed within 5 business days. We never sell or rent your details.

Storage and disclosure

Your information is stored in our Microsoft 365 environment. We disclose personal information only as needed to deliver our services (for example to the ATO on your authority), where the law requires it, or with your consent.

Overseas disclosure

To deliver our services we use reputable cloud providers and may use limited offshore or virtual support staff for administrative tasks. This means your personal information may be stored or processed overseas, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Singapore. All core professional work is performed or reviewed in Australia under our supervision. Where information is disclosed to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (including APP 8). Our letter of engagement sets these arrangements out in full.
